I absolutely prawns and have loads of them in my freezer - but a friend recently told me that I can't eat them!! Is this true? Because if it is then I'll be gutted...

When you are pregnant, it is advisable not to eat oysters and other shelled seafoods, such as prawns, mussels and crabs, unless they are part of a hot meal and have been thoroughly cooked. When raw these foods may be contaminated with harmful bacteria and viruses.

So...if I cook them for example in a stir fry then it should be ok? Or not worth the risk.......?

Well to be on the safe side as i am.. ive cut them out totally... Up to you, but as they say if they cooked properly you can eat them!! xxxx
