"Im so mad"

i just read a couple of posts that clairelouise wrote and i want to know "are you for real?" i read your proile and i think you need to eep some of your opinions to yourself.

im going to be a working mum becausei cant afford to not work, i have a morgage to pay and i live to my means which means i have a nice house and a car etc that all needs paying for. does this make me a bad mum to provide for my child?

im nealy 28, do you think this is too old to have a baby? im planning another but i will be 30 by then, god know what you might think of that.

and as for your opinions on breast feeding, yes i agree breast is best ut please dont put down those mums, like me, that just didnt get on with it or choose not to. ben was nearly put in hospital cos i tried to persivere with breastfeeding, only to find out i was starvin him cos my milk didnt come in. dont put people down for doing what is best for their baby.

maybe things are just cheaper in australia.

I just had a PM from her asking why I posted the how dare you post on the breastfeeding thread, and saying I'm weird!!!!! She should take a good look at herself I think. I've blacklisted her anyway, she's not worth it, we are all great mums. xx

How dare she...she is entitled to her opinions but she needs to learn to keep them to herself...jealous of her...pfffft...she sounds like a total stepford wife, i bet all is rosey and happy in her house, i bet she never has a bad hair day never gets spots and never argues with her OH, well good for her lets hope she clears off real soon and takes her over inflated ego with her...stuck up numpty!

Huge to you all Xx

Just had to check out her profile after reading your post and some of the replies. She's either 80 years of age or has just arrived by time travel from the 17th century!

and apparently she's not being judgemental!?!
"One of her previous posts was removed"

It was really nasty about older mothers, IVF, anyone who didn't give birth naturally, didn't or couldn't breastfeed, working mums, single mums - she probably managed to insult some other people but I forget.

I feel very sorry for her son being brought up by someone so narrow minded and unpleasant. I think one of the most important things you can teach your children is tolerance and an ability to see others points of view.

Can't figure out if she's for real or a troll (someone who comes on a chatroom just to stir things up and get a response). It may be a coincidence but she seems to have similar views to Arran3?
"Aah, i wondered"
Posted by 5reloaded5 11 September  at  17:49

about that too. If she was just trying to stir it or to be controversial for some bizarre reason cos these opinions just seem far too off the wall for a normal sane person to be expressing, especially if that someone were quite young, you know what I mean? Sometimes you meet an older person with these very dogmatic opinions based on some kind of life wisdom and things they've tried and tested against others.

Then again, she might just be a dingbat, isn't that what you call them down your way clarelouise?
"Oh, don't i mean"
Posted by 5reloaded5 11 September  at  17:53

drongo? Or dag? Dunno don't watch much Neighbours anymore. She's a halfwit anyway lol
"Totally off topic"

Anyway moving on...

I read her profile piece aswell and I just got really angry. She isn't in ANY position to comment on being a so called older mum as she has no experience. I have done both having my first at 21 and now my 4th at 36 and there is nothing wrong with either. Infact in a lot of ways I am a much better mum now than I was when I was 21.

Her post to Newbie16 got me cross this morning. She obviously doesn't live in the real world.

Maybe she should keep her opinions to herself til she has grown up enough to understand that everyone is different.

Ok rant over...........for now!!
"Well"
Posted by rachaelbigbaby 11 September  at  13:07

WELL SAID!

I read her posts too, but couldn't put what I was thinking in to words! The same with natural births? There are so mummys out there that just can't cope with that or for medical reasons are unable too...silly, overly opinionated woman!!

"A few"
Posted by tinalw81 11 September  at  14:36

but the one about breastfeeding really got me going.

Jen i blame you lol!!

"Ha ha"
Posted by 5reloaded5 11 September  at  14:54

no fair. I just wanted to rant to someone about it then you told the world and his granny. Well, quite right. Girls a half wit and should just go away or join some other like minded forum.

When I first noticed the bf post the other day someone else was saying she's said it all before on here and politely got told to bog off. Sounds like she'll post periodically when new girls have joined and get off upsetting loadsa folk all over again.

Hey clarelouise, if one person or even two don't agree with you that's cool but when there's so many people saying it well you really should go take a look at it and address it.

Jen x
