only eternal exams need a full bladder. you will find it uncomfortable if you dont. so stop drinking a while before it.

I have had 3 internal scans due to different problems, when ever i go they always make sure that i have an empty bladder, this is becasue it is more uncomfterable as they can sometimes push on your bladder.

"Thanks all.."

Yup, def dont want to drink water before an internal scan! The make you empty bladder before hand. Can an internal scan make the baby look smaller then an ultrasound picture since thier different views?

You need to drink water for an ultra sound, but not for an internal san. They send you to the toilet to empty your bladder before they scan!!!
Best of luck ... hope it all goes well,
x.
