Hi!!

My husband and I live in Germany currently, but we will be moving to the UK next year. I am 2 months pregnant now and it so happens that we will be in the UK when the baby is born. Could someone please enlighten us on how the public and the private insurance works in the UK? Considering I will already be in the advanced stages of my pregnancy by then, will the insurance companies give me a cover? How will the process work in this case.

Look forward to hearing from someone soon. Thanks

don't know much about this but my partner and his ex had there baby in germany so the other way round. If one or both of you are english nationality you should just be able to register with a midwife and go from there. Otherwise here's a number for National Insurance International. They should be able to explain everything to you and answer any questions u have. Phone Number= +441912254811

Good luck Savannah Xx
