Hey girls

Just thought I'd let you know how I got on today after last nights bleeding etc..

Saw a Dr at 10.20 this morning who was really helpful and after asking a few questions decided to try and get me a scan. Nothing available til Monday! Huh, gutted.

Anyway, got home about 11 and had a call at 12. The Dr. Bless her, she'd been thinking about me and worried that the bleeding and few pains I'd had could be the warning signs of an ectopic and after contacting the early preg unit, the EPAC wanted to admit me straight away. Got my stuff together and started preparing for the worst. Had the usual preg test done, bloods, bp and a SCAN!!! Saw my little jelly beans tiny heart pumping away - YAY!!! And got to hear it too! Babs is exactly the right size for my dates so all seems well. Also had a vaginal examination and swabs taken to eliminate any infection that could have caused the bleeding. My HCG count was 117,000.4
Still got a tiny amount of blood when I wipe (none actually made it onto a pad), but told to rest and not to worry. Also told it could just be an implantation bleed.

I am so relieved and happy and bloody exhausted!
