"When will the baby start kicking higher up??"

Hi ladies, babies and bumps!
My lively lady is still kicking below my belly button, and I would have expected her to start kicking higher up by now (27 weeks)! Is it normal for the baby to still be kicking low down??
I asked my doc at my 25 week appointment, and she was useless, she just checked my utrus (sp)!!, said that it stopped here, measured it (just above the average line, but still between the two think lines), and said everything was fine!!
Will the baby start kicking higher up later, or should I be feeling her higher up now???
Thanks for reading,
Janice and 27 week Lydia bump.

I mostly feel kicks under my belly button (mainly my bladder!!) because my little lady is feet-down, but also on my left side and under my ribs depending on if she has her legs over her head or not... lol. I only know that's how she is doing it because she was doing it when I went for my 22wk scan! Don't think it really matters as long as you can feel her moving

Rach xx + 26wk+3 lively pink bump!

i carried all up from but used to feel the kicks sort of in my side, i think it all depends on how big you are how much waters you have etc, dont wish for it to be higher as when i got bigger ben used to play kick mummy's ribs to pieces lol!

She might well still be breech, this little one was breech til I last went to midwife (32 weeks) then she had turned and the kicks were more out to the side then (and still are infact).

The ripples are all over though. You'll probably find they change in the next few weeks.

Love N xx (34+3 pink bump)
