its child health clinic @ nuffield tomorrow (Tues) afternoon between 2pm & 4pm. I'll be there to get Elise weighed and if you are worried about Mya's jaundice, you could pop in to see one of the health visitors. Just to put your mind at rest?
Try not to worry too much.

onw of the worst things you can do is google a condition ... Ive learnt the hard way !!! it always brings up the horror stories as I found out when I was pregnant - I had high volume of amniotic fluid which I was worried sick about, made the mistake of googling it as soon as I got home from hospital and made matters a million times worse !!! Ive done this several times over the years and have always scared myself silly.
Dont forget, Mya is only 8 days old and jaundice is common in newborn babies .. they do say to expose baby to natural sunlight and make sure they are taking plenty of milk ... if you are really worried call your MW so that she can some take a look at Mya and put your mind at rest, thats what they are there for !!
Hope this helps

i was a terrible mum to start with, i was trying to breastfeed and ben wasnt sleeping well (the first few days i brought him home) and so i left him for 7 hours without feeding him as he was sleeping (from about 5am) and he wasnt feeding properly when he was on the boob so he ended upwith really bad jaundice, i iwll see if i can put a pic on for you to look at tomorrow.
i was told to put him to sleep next to the window (even if now sunny just for naturel light) or in the pram outside. also i had to feed him every three hours morning noon and night and i had to set my clock on a night it was that bad!
i ithnk it took a couple of weeks for it to pass thru so dont worry. he is fine now.
the problem i had was once it had gone he still wanted feeding every three hours xxx
