Hey ladies

Thank God I've left work as I'm having the worst night sleeps ever right now! I was hoping it was a one-off but I seem to wake every 2 hrs suffering with numbness on my whole left side, leaving me with a stiff left arm. I'm just shattered and have to keep taking lil naps in the day. Is this normal? I'm worried that I'm slowing blood supply to bubs I've tried using pillows which help for a bit but they always end up falling on the floor. Hubby has sent me to the spare room as I'm so restless Should I go see the Doc?

Love a very mis Sharon & 32 +1 active blue bump
xx

Ive had this right from being 34 weeks, altho i only suffer with it in the bottom parts of my arms and hands. It came all of a sudden, id wake up and couldnt feel my hands at all and then it turned into lots of tiny pins and needles which i found made it even harder for me to rest at night and sleep.
I looked it up on the internet as to what it could be, and it turned out it was 'Carpell Tunnell Syndrome' which is quite common in the later stages of pregnancy.
Luckily my mum works at the hospital so she managed to ge me a few splints for at night when im asleep, and trust me they work wonders!! I also asked them midwife about it and she said she could book me in to see a physio but all they would do is give me splints.

Try drinking lots of water to reduce the swelling (if there is any) and just try shaking your hands to get the blood supply to your fingers again. If you leave it, it will only get worse. Ask your midwife to refer ya to a physio!!

Good luck Huni
