Last week I had a cramp at night, it was so violent that I haven't been able to walk for a day!
It's my last week at work and I think it will be the longest!
I feel hot, tired, heavy, not motivated, everything!
Baby is moving so much that I screamed yesterday, I felt it so well that it scared me!
I really feel that I am entering to the end of my pregnancy.
Question: is it normal to have pains in the right side of my belly?
I don't think that it is contractions because it's not coming from my back to go in front, it's just a pain on my belly that comes and goes....
I'm a bit worried to be honest but are we not supposed to feel different pains when we comes close to the end?
I'm in my 33 weeks and things have changed, I don't feel that confortable anymore.

It must be very strange during the last weeks, the feeling of your baby, the way you feel unconfortable, you are not too moody?

About the pain on the right side, you didnt have a cyst in the past? because in this case it might be that, i had one as well when i was in france and the pain comes back regurlarly, but there is nothing to do with it. If not, it could be your intestin maybe but if it comes and goes, and if you havent got fiever neither you vomit, so i dont think there is something wrong but you can always speak about it with your midwife, afterall, she is here for to reassure you.

So you stop 6 weeks before effectively? I am supposed to stop on the 12/08 but i will try to stop a bit later, on the 29/08 if i can (if it is still hot maybe i will appreciate to stay at home).
Is it very hard during the last weeks?
Otherwise, i will stop until next august 2006. My manager agreed with that so now i have to ask officialy.
And you, what are you going to do finally ? go back to work ? take a nanny ? part-time ?

The last week is very strange! I didn't know that I would feel so tired when I come back home. And it's hot!
Moody....oh yes! Well everyone is ... me off!!! I dont' know if it's because I'm pregnant or it's really them who are sooooo annoying but yeah! it's hard to deal with people!
I didn't know either when to stop because here you can go when you want (in france You are told to go at a certain time) but really 6 weeks is good. I am going to enjoy not doing anything!!
I haven't took any decision yet regarding chilcare. My situation is a bit weird....my partner is not working, which doesn't help.
I'm not scared, I have to deal with it. So, childcare will be decided when I will know if he finds a job, if we put the baby part time or full time. If i go back to work part time.....
I will know nearer the time unfortunatly.
I would like to take a year off really.
Not easy....but I don't want to think about that yet. I have put my name into two nurseries, as a back up plan!
And you ??? Do you know what you're going to do??

Be brave it is your last week and you will soon see baby!! Don't worry about work without being pregnant it is hard when it is so hot so I am sure they will understand.
What do you plan to do during your maternity leave?? Do you go on holidays? or you are just going to enjoy the london's sun and the park?
I couldn't find in the forum if you are having a boy or a girl. Do you know???

It is hard to go to work now I can't wait to be on Maternity leave. I won't go anywhere because of money and because I don't want to be far from the hospital! My mother suggested that I come to Paris (she also said that there were hospitals in Paris too!!) but no thank you ! I want to be near MY hospital, with MY partner, holding MY hand!!
Mothers are all the same!
I will enjoy the parks, I have the battersea park near my house, I love it.
Me and my partner have decided not to find out about the sex, it's a surprise (which starts to be really hard to keep!!)
I will let you know of the outcomes anyway!!
