Hi girls, are your ankles starting to swell? because i just realised that mine do. I quickly checked my books about the pre-eclampsia and they say that there are certains symptoms announcing it like fiever etc.. so it is normal apparently, this change of "shape" of my ankles. I will try to find a urine test kit, to check my urine at home cause apparently it is what they do, with a blood pressure test. Does anyone already bought a urine test kit?
How are you feeling otherwise with this hot sublime lovely weather?

It has been awhile since I have been pregnant, but my ankles use to swell a lot, especially when I was pregnant with my daughter, more so than with my son. I use to prop my feet up with pillows and that usually helped to bring the swelling down for me...

It is great to have advice from a mum. I put some pillows and i shower my legs with cold water as well and it helps a lot cause in the morning, my ankles look normal again, what a pleasure !!
But since 2 nigts, i cant sleep, my legs torture me, i dont know what to do, where to put them, it is hot and unbearable. Unfortunately, i think it will be like that until the end of my pregnancy !

Sure! We women have to stick together and help each other out! You know, maybe you should have your doctor take a look just to be on the safe side, especially since it's so bad it's keeping you from sleeping. Mine wasn't that severe, it was mainly if I was on my feet a lot that day, and it didn't affect my sleeping. Just have your doctor take a look. Congrats with your new baby!
