Hiya Rach

Its so confusing isn ... ! I have a Micralite which is fab but can only be used from 6mths old (before that we had 3wheeler from M&P but it broke after few mths!) and it has airfilled tyres etc so easy to push and light etc. We were going to buy carrycot to clip onto the frame to use from newborn for £150 but a friend offered me her Bugaboo Cameleon for £200 which is only a year old! It is in fab cond and gives me what I really want which is to see baby if I want to or let him/her see the world and has carrycot, footmuf and sunbrolly. I'm really really excited about my pram even though I'm really really early. I just couldn't miss out on such a fab deal to be honest and am crossing fingers all will be okay but if it isn't then will have to sell it on ebay! Can't recommend Bugaboo yet as no experience of it but I can recommend Micralite.

Good luck! xx

My mind is boggled with trying to do research !
I'm thinking of a Silver Cross 3D travel system, has anyone any experience of this, I've heard both good and bad. My friend at work has it and can't fault it, plus he says that they were thinking of the mamas and papas pliko but that silver cross altho slightly heavier was a lot more sturdy.

Any other recommendations?

Had our heart set on the Silver Cross Sleepover Deluxe (we have a huge boot in our car so space isn't an issue)

BUT now, I've just seen that Elizabeth Said bout the Maxi Cosi Mura 4 and HOW COOL.

It looks so funky, spacious and cosy. As well as being sturdy and coming in some really funky colours. Will deffinatly be trying this one out now before I buy a Pram.

If any one does get one before hand please let me know what you think.

mamas and papas ultima 8in1 has anyone got this and what do you think of it? I heard the SC 3d carrycot is quite small so baby outgrows it fast.

HI Sheryl .
I have the ultima 8 in 1 - its a lovely travel system - Harry was in the carrycot for about 12 weeks then I moved on to the stroller fixture ... I imagine this will last him ages ...

I would recommend it, the only thing I would say is to make sure you have all the raincovers included, they are supposed to be but the place I bought mine from must have forgotten to put them in and I had to pay extra to buy additional covers !!!

i think i'm almost decided on that one. It seemed really easy to put up and down etc.

i havnt had one but have been looking at the silvercross dazzle still acts like a pramette but u have the advantage of having a light weight buggy, no need to buy a stroller later.ive had loads of big prams but never seem to use them as much. so dazzle seems a good all rounder!

we're getting a Maxi Cosi Mura 4 - with the hard pram body for when she is little.
it's very light to push around (because the tires are air filled) which will make it easier on my hips. the front wheels swivel, so also easier to turn, it's the 4 wheel version we are getting as they are a little bit more stable, as there will be inches of compacted ice and feet of compacted snow when Siri is born, we want the pram to be as sturdy as possible! so with that in mind it's also worth looking at the wheel size and tread. then again, you're in the UK aren't you?

we went to the shop after researching lots and just tried them all out - lots of fun!!

oh also worth checking how they fold and whether it's easy to do - and that they fit into yuor car when folded

we were going to get the maxi cosi car seat too, as they clip in and out of the buggy frame so it's easy to move baby around, though a friend is giving us their second car seat for free, so funnily enough we're going for that one hehe

oh and we think the mura 4 looks cool and it has nice colours! we're getting the black pram bag (grey slice) and the blueberry slice buggy

a silver cross 3d travel system with my 1st and i never got on with it so sold it when he was 4 months old. Very nice looking and sturdy but we just could not get on with it, we might have had a dodgy one but it was hard to put up and sometimes didn't want to fold! It is big and takes up most of room in boot.
he didn't have a puschair for a few months as we used the sling everywhere we went but when he was about 7 months old we got a quinny zap and we love it. So light and folds really small. Only downside is it doesn't recline but we've not had a problem with this. going to be purchasing the car seat so we can use it for when the new baby arrives

my sis has it and my sis in law has the M&P pliko-im not a fan myself to be honest?

i think they are ok when baby in small but when they get a bit bigger you cant push them! too heavy. my sis is happy with it though.

think its a personal thing
-how much walking are you going to be doing? a lot or are you just going to bung it in the boot and nip round town?

im a big three wheeler fan-never liked the look of them but they are dead sturdy and literally just bounce along down the road-also great over grass and bumpy roads etc....only thing they take most of your boot up.

i had a jane powertwin last time and it was a dream, this time ive got a quinny buzz 3( e bay, £125 second had with car seat) but no experience with it as no used it yet

it's a minefield! I'll look up some of the ones that you've all mentioned. My friend has just bought the maxi cosi one and thinks it's ace, she ended up paying about £500 tho and I think that may be out of our price range. Will have a look on good old ebay tho x x x
