I was having the same symptoms and I researched it online and found out it's fairly common for some women to have shortness of breath during pregnancy. It has something to do with hormone production and your body utilizing more air sacks in your lungs in order to ensure that the baby gets enough oxygen. If you have ever suffered from asthma you should see your doctor though...they have safe ways of treating pregnant women with asthma. I happened to have suffered from asthma years ago and it returned around 2 1/2 months into my pregnancy...go figure...my doctor ensures me that my asthma should be treated and that the medications that I used were fine. good luck and god bless. cherryici.

yip, its normal honey ive had 3, some people used to think i was in labour, cause i was panting so much. think its just all because, as the baby gets bigger, your organs are being pressed on. as you can imagine, there aint alot of extra space now, and your babies still growing!! it is normal, but do take it easy. you'll be doing plenty running around after the birth, TRUST ME!! good luck sweetheart!!

Its not 'normal' as in there isnt anything wrong... my midwife said it could be a case of iron deficiency, so dont just accept it, check it out...
