Hiya, Unfortunately I'm no expert as I'm the same as you (first timer - due date Oct 1st) but I can at least empathise! Have told everyone apart from my work colleagues (who I'm planning to tell this coming Monday when they're all back from their Easter hols although I think a few have guessed already as I'm getting quite podgy-looking). Hiding bump is hard as most of the clothes in shops at the mo are tunic-styles and empire lines which will be great for the months ahead when the bump is more obvious but for now they just emphasize the 'pregnant' look. I'm at that awkward stage where i look like I have a bit of a beer belly rather than glowing with pregnancy radiance. So anyway, if anyone else out there has some advice on flattering styles to wear that would be good. Also, have been waking up for the last 3 or 4 mornings with increasingly painful cramp in lower abdomen. Happens just first thing in the morning then usually subsides once I've had a wee. This morning it was excruciating and really hoping it won't happen tomorrow. Does this happen to anyone else at the 16/17 week stage??

the pains you are having are more than likely your womb growing! about hiding your bump... b/c your not showing a proper baby bump yet just complain about the weight you have put on & say your starting walking every nt... ha ha no one will know-till you tell them. x
