Hi, i went to see the doctor as soon as i found out. which was about 5 - 6 weeks. He then contacted the midwife for me and told me to wait for an appointment from her through the post. Congratulations by the way! x

hiya im being a right pain 2day posting every 2 seconds lol!

im just wondering whether i need to make a doctors appointment yet? i thought i did and so i called to check but the receptionist said that i didnt i just had to put in a urine sample and then they would get bk to me in a few days?

i think i would feel better going to see the doctor because i have crohns disease and have been really ill with it for the past 5 years (recently had surgery in december)!

what has everybody else done or what to u think?

That's not babbling! I was desperate to see a doctor, I was stunned when I found out and I thought it would seem more real that way.

How far on are you, or do you think you are? I phoned and was told I didn't need a doctor's apptmt, just needed to see midwife at 8 weeks (I found out at 6 weeks). If you're worried, explain that to the receptionist - there may well be a reason why your doctor should know straight away. Are you on medication? It could affect things.

hi, im about 6 weeks going from last period but think i could possibly be further on than that!

it was just with health reasons etc i just assumed i would have to see the doctor (well to be honest with u i thought everyone had to see the doctor when they found out)!

i am on quite a lot of medication for crohns disease, but because we were trying for a baby we already checked this out with my consultant and surgeon and was told they were fine to take whilst pregnant!! (look i total u a babble like crazy lol)! i assumed that it would take a lot longer than this to fall pregnant and with me having surgery in december i was worried about that aswell.

i think im just going to make an appointment, just dont want to be wasting doctors time!

I found out i was preggers sat 24th march,went to see the doctor tues 27th march for blood test,just for comfirmation of pregnancy,got results back last thursday.1st antenatal tomorrow,3rd April.So you could say,it's all happening fast.lol But after my app with doc tomorrow,i probably won't see him again until 10wks.I just think all docs surgeries are different.
