i am pregnant with my first baby and i am not sure how many weeks i am as dont know where you count from. someone please help me. thanx x

Yea, it did indeed freak me out. The first day of my last period was November 9th and I found out I was pregnant December 6th. But my husband graduated Marine boot camp November 17th and the doctors said that I was 10 weeks pregnant when I was only 8 weeks. EVERYONE thought I had cheated on my husband!!! BUT I knew I was either virgin Marry or it was his baby! lol. Come to find they add weeks-medical reasons. That made me feel SOOO much better!! Our conception date was November 22. Its confusing but all in all...were going to be mommy and daddy.

Doctors actually count more weeks to your pregancy than you really are. Kinda freaked me out. But they said they do it for medical reasons. I believe they add about 2 or 3 weeks onto your actually time. When was the first day of your last period? Thats a start. CONGRATS!!

That's odd I've never known that before!!! It must have freaked you out! I knew without a doubt the first day of my last period and the doctor didnt add anything on to mine said it was Sept 14th ( the same as i'd worked it out ) but then at my scan they looked at the size of my baby and changed my due date to Sept 9th!
