"I've got my fetal heart monitor!!!"
Posted by summerlee1 8 April  at  21:38

Hi,
Thankyou to those of you who replied to my previous post " when should i hear my babys heartbeat " ( especially for the positive feed back )
To jog your memories, i had scan at 12 weeks and all was fine then i saw the midwife at 14 weeks but she couldnt hear the heartbeat! She told me not to worry as it may have been to early to hear it....like i wasnt going to worry!!!!
Anyway have now received my fetal heart monitor and have just heard my babys heart beat for the 1st time. What a relief!!!!
Thankyou x

i bought a heart monitor too, but cant use it until 21 weeks, im almost there, currently just over 20 weeks, i can hear the baby kicking and poking about but no heart beat yet, its will probably take a little bit of adjusting so im not worried.

hey,

You can get a fetal heart monitor from boots for £30! click on http://www.boots.com/shop/product_details.jsp?prod-uctid =1053842&classificationid=1021 541

I was going to get one but then decided not too as I'd drive myself crazy if I positioned it wrong and couldnt hear anything! I'd probs end up having it permanently attached to me! Good luck in your scan, Im 20 weeks and 5 days now and found out Im havin a little boy last tues, its amazing! congratulations! x x x
