I got pregnant at 20 and it wasn't planned. Although I was really happy my partner wasn't. We were both living with our parents and he always wanted us to be married and have a place of our own before we had babies. Anyway at 7 weeks pregnant I had a threatened misscarriage but was told the following week that everything was fine. It kind of made him realise that the baby inside was made out of our love for one another it was part of both of us and after that he really wanted to keep it. Anyway everything worked out fantastically we got our own place and he couldn't wait for the birth. Now my little girl is 2 she is such a daddies girl. We are getting married next month and I'm 7 weeks pregnant with our second baby.
Just talk to your partner about what you want but doing it behind his back is not the answer. Good luck xx

What is stopping you guys getting your 'own place and stuff'? I am 33 and preg with my second. Was wanting this for the last 3 years and dh was not, we already have a child but when that babylust kicks in it becomes the most important thing in the world, I was about to walk away and find someone else to give me more babies, but that was the kick in the ass dh needed to get with the programme. It has not been easy on our relationship and now 4.5 months along with fetus 2 there are still days I think we might split over this difference of opinion. Although he impregnated me deliberately and with his full consent at the time he still admits he regrets it and is depressed by having kids. He is having great issue with the fact my desire for motherhood was more important than him too. Not sure how this is going to help you, but just so you know, you are not alone in feeling that way. You are young and have plenty of time, but who's to say you won't have an accident or illness tomorrow and lose the ability to bear children. Um, sorry to sound so morbid. I am sure it will all work out for you. Good luck. It does help if you can both be on the same page tho.

Hi i'm 20 and nearly 7 months pregnant and my partner has been brilliant as it wasn't planned. Yours might not be, Just don't do it behind your partners back he might not be ready and things could turn out for the worse like him not standing by you. I know it sounds harsh but it can happen that way. Just talk to him first and if he is still not ready then wait you are still young and have plenty of time for babies. Hope this has helped. x
