Hi,

To be honest I dont know much about pregnancy - I joined because I think i might be pregnant to...

Your situation sounds very confusing. I cant believe that the doctors have not given you more information. If I were you I would go and see a different Doctor and ask them to do blood tests to confirm your pregnancy.

I hope that everything works out for you!

Take care,
Wendy

hiyyya

The doctor should of done another hcg beta blood test 48 hours later to see if the levels have doubled as they should do in a normal ongoing pregnancy, pregnancy tests are very acurate but usually pick up on 50 of hcg but can work on 25 mls to anythin at or over them levels and the test will say pregnant you should contact your doctor as you need another bllod test to see if the levels are increasing, the doctors arnt always right thou, they said i was not pregnant cause i was bleedin and had miscarriaged then my hcg had doubled! i am still pregnant! trust your insticts

good luck xxxx

Hi

I know someone who has just gone through this - she had the same doctors results (low hormones) and had spotting, she had to keep going back to the hospital, but eventually things evened out and she is still pregnant.

I'm surprised the docs haven't done more to look into this though, as they are usually quite thorough if they think you've miscarried - perhaps no news is good news? Urine tests are very accurate these days, so I think it's unlikely you had false positives. I know its hard, but hang in there and keep pestering them, hopefully some new tests will bring good news.

Good luck x
