"Dec 8th"

Hiya

I'm due on December 8th. I had my 12 week scan yesterday, I was really apprehensive beforehand but it was amazing and the baby is fine. Can't wait to start showing now though. My trousers are tight on me but I just look a bit chubby as opposed to pregnant. Hope everyone is safe and well.

Kx

Sara,

Congratulations on the news!

I have recently found out that I am pregnant and due towards the end of December. It's my first too.

The doctors have told me that I am 5 weeks pregnant, which is the same as my calculations.

I am a bit concerned because my waistline has expanded already and I am struggling to fasten my jeans and end up lounging around in tracksuit bottoms!

Did anyone else have a tummy at 5 weeks?

"Due 15th dec 07"

Hi Sarah, I'm 29 & am 7weeks pregnant with my first baby. I've just recently (yesterday) had my first scan because I've had bad cramps & alot of bleeding. All okay and I even got a photo! 9.26mm. I'm thinking that for the next 7months I'll not drink, eat properly or wear my normal clothes, but at xmas time I'll have the best xmas gift ever and as a bonus(be able to eat xmas dinner & enjoy new year) this is very important for a scottish mum to be. Another bonus is he/she will be able to wear cute clothes in springtime and not need to be wrapped up in loads of blankets and hats etc. I hope everything goes well and good luck to you both or more
"Hi, similar boat we're in!! -maybe u can help me??"
Posted by beamer691 24 April  at  21:01

Hi, I am 37, so a bit older than you, this is my third baby. I live on a small island , so telling anyone b4 the '3 month safe time' is a no no!!, (although had to with 1st two bcos, i couldnt wait!!) lol! - However, this time, i am due on 5th dec, according to 'my book', so about 8 weeks gone, i have been bleeding lightly for 6 days, but i still havent told doc or a midwife, as this happened to me at 5 weeks b4, and it was an early misscarriage, i have been reading all kinds of internet info and i even feel like consulting a clairvoyant, as soooo scared!! lol. What do u think i should do? I still 'feel' really pregnant, and am putting on weight in all right places.????????? Any ideas?? I also did a preg test yest and is positive, but that maybe bcos i still have hormones showing! maybe someone else can relate to this?? - soz to put all on you. Good luck with yr pregnancy hun, i am sure you will enjoy it, and the birth, i love giving birth!! (mad, me!!) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
"Same boat as you"
Posted by clpdorset 1 May  at  21:27

Hi

I thought I was mad having a 2nd but hey you are going for a 3rd, still I'm sure it will be just as much fun.

I'm in a similar boat to you. Have a daughter now 2 and a half, have had two miscarriages since November last year and now pregnant again. Feel as fat as a house and not sure if I'm 5 or 7 weeks as I didn't have a period after my last miscarriage!

I'm determined not to go to the doctor yet as in the past each time I've been to see them I've miscarried shortly afterwards, hoax or what!

Your bleeding may not be anything to worry about but at least if you see a doc' they will have it on your record. Having had 3 miscarriages now (one before my doctor) they are a bit more interested in what is going on, so although everything could be ok, I would just go and get it checked out for a few reasons.

Take care, keep your chin up.

Let me know how you get on.

You should definetly speak to your doc or midwife as soon as. They will be able to scan you and check everything is as it should be.

good luck x

I just got my BFP today and am due in December. According to online calculators it will be between 25 and 29 as have erratic cycles. It will be a lovely christmas for us all! I am 29 and this will be my 1st. I am very excited but also anxious about getting to 12 weeks and how I will hide it from everyone!
