Hey there just wanted some advice, i found out i was pregnant a week ago, i was having period pain basically without the period so i did a test (well 4 tests actually) they were all positive, i went to my doctor on tuesday, and she has reffered me to an early pregnancy unit i have an appointment next friday. I am having all the normal symptoms of pregnancy, sore breasts, tiredness, and my morning sickness started yesterday, although i have only been sick once. But i am still having these period like pains occasionally, i was just wondering if this is normal? and should i really be worried about it?
Thanx xxx

Hi there!
Try not too worry, if they get too much then do speak to your midwife you can check you over for your own peace of mind. Pregnancy pains are very much like period pains. Your body is constantly changes and your womb is growing to accomodate your growing baby. I was the same as you when I was expecting my daughter, I worried constantly, I was always running to the toilet to check I wasn't bleeding! lol. I'm now 5+wks with my 2nd baby, having the same pains again. I'm not so paraniod this time. Hope you both have a lovely pregnancy.
Best wishes, Nikki.xx
