i am so proud to be pregnant, although i am just 4 weeks. we have been trying since september when i came of the injection. it has felt like a life time each month testing only to get a negative result!! but at last, i have caught on, we are well suited and want to tell the world but dont know whether to wait the 12 weeks? i know this is the danger zone, but if we tell people or not, what will be will be?? someone please advise!!!! what would / did you do???

i was exactly the same my partner and i had been trying since october with each month going past with no luck so in january when the test came back positive i couldnt wait to tell everyone.i told family at 4weeks because i was in hospital alot because they thought the baby was eptopic and then friends at 13 weeks im now 14 weeks and i hate to tell you but it is such a long wait i just wanted to shout it from the windows good luck let me know x

Thank you for all the encouraging words of advise. we decided to take the plunge and tell peple, we just couldn't keep it in after we had told our parents!! Everyone is delighted at the news, as we are!! got my 1st midwife appointment on 17th May, cant wait....

it is a totally self preference sweetheart. there s such a thing about waiting 12 weeks, and you should keep quiet till then. i was shouting from the roof tops the minute i had two blue lines. lol.
as you say, what will be, will be. there is no right or wrong in your situation. if you want to keep it hush, then do so. no-one is to know. they may guess there's something going on with your grin from ear to ear though!!!!
you don't have to tell everyone either. maybe just your parents, and a close friend. that way you will support from the people who you most need it from.

i never waitin till 12 wks to tel ppl even thou i did try, if anytings goin to happen then it will happen whether you tell ppl or not! its such an exictin experice so its completely up to you wen you tell ppl! my second pregancy was a shock now 21wks but told everyone wen i found out! gd luck with the pregancy, and plus youve just posted it on her so ima sure it wont matter if you tell ppl hehe xx
