"Sex and pregnancy?"

Hi Girls,

Just had a quick question, kind of personal but just wondering if it is normal to have bleeding after sex when you are pregnant.

I am only around 4 week mark but it seems that past 2 times there have been bleeding after. And this morning it seems that when i wipe still some spotting. (sorry if TMI).

Just wondering if this is normal or I should be concerned and if not then can i expect this for the remainder of the pregnancy?

Sorry i am a little paranoid perhaps since we had a miscarriage last time i think i am just worried sick it will happen again.

Any comments welcome.

Thanks

Hi,
I know exactly how you're feeling - we've had 2 miscarriages with 2 healthy children and 1 on the way. I find that sometimes after sex - even at 15.5 weeks, there's still some spotting. I think it all goes with how "deep" it goes. The more gentler, the less chances I find.
Good luck!
Amanda

Hey
Well i haven't had anything like that happen to me, but i do know that spotting or even a little bit of bleeding is normal after sex. Since you did have a miscarriage previously, i would still watch it and if it goes on more than 24 hours after i would go and see a doctor just to make sure. Well good luck with everything and stay strong!

HI all,

just wanted to let you know that unfortunately it did turn out to be more than just a little spotting, it has went on to full blown period like.

Anyways spoke with doctor and looks like i have had an early miscarriage again. I cant believe it we are absolutely heart broken, once is bad enough but twice. i cant take it, i cant do this again!!!

Ok once i believe is chance but twice in a row cmon. My doctor says she wouldnt consider it abnormal until at least 3 in a row, jesus christ how much torture does one have to endure.

Please keep us in your thoughts and good luck to all of you!! I think i wont post for awhile i think i need a baby break, i just cant handle anymore right now, far too raw!!! Thanks to everyone for your support and encouragement over the past few months.

Broken hearted again
