hi kelly,
yes this is very normal for the baby to be more active at nt. with my first pregnancy it was very difficult to get a good nts sleep in the last 10 weeks.
a midwife told me an active baby in the evening is a hyper child... think this could be true!! lol
enjoy.

As soon as I go to bed I can start feeling my baby boy moving and in the morning aswell, these are his most active times. I don't really feel him as much through the day. I got told that it is because when you lie down there is less room for your baby to move, hence you can feel them more.
How far gone are you Kelly? I'm nearly 23 weeks and having a boy too!

i am 27 weeks now i think. i got it from this website called babycenter.com
now my baby is ore active when im up n sitting around the house, or in the late afternoon, around 5-6 or 7-8pm.
but now he doesnt move as much like he used to at 12-3am. he will kick or punch a couple of times but thats about it.he seems more active when im up though.
i was thinking about asking my doctor about it when i go back on the 30th. what do you think?? thank you

I found that baby was more active at night from around 20 weeks, I was told that it's because in the day when we are active, baby is usually lulled to sleep by our constant movements. However when we are still (mostly when we need to go to sleep) baby wakes up and starts moving about as it's so quiet and still! I'm now around 24 weeks, and baby tends to be awake in the day time a lot more now, but she's still awake as i lay down to sleep, and soon after drops off too! Hope your pregnancies are going well!!
All the best, Momtobe x
