Wow this is very strange, I have just found out (Thursday last week) that I am pregnant for the second time. Our daughter is 3 in July and this wasn't planned but then we weren't being terribly careful either. We don't know how pregnant I am as I never keep a record of my dates and I went to the doctors recently on two occasions as I had 'period pains' for two weeks after my period and then had raging PMT like I was going mad! Now it makes sense as it was probably the embryo bedding in and in my first pregnancy I was awful to live with between weeks 7 - 9. I could be 6 weeks or ten weeks but only a scan will tell.

We have decided to keep it to ourselves for a while but I was bursting to tell someone so here I am!!

Saw the doctor this morning and she is new to the practice so couldn't confirm whether they would be able to carry out an early scan if not I will have to wait up to 6 weeks for a scan - unbearable... hey ho I guess we just have to go with the flow.

Anyone else just found out?

My story is very similar to yours,.. this is also my second pregnancy,
and although we are delighted & wanted more kids hadnt planned just yet.
ive had period pains from day 1 too, kinda knew i was prob pregnant as it was the same with my first. im 6 weeks. yes, we are keeping this to ourselves too untill 12 wk scan in june. i enjoy keeping it a secret though - then all our friends & family are more surprised.
so we're having xmas babies then!!
any sickness??
Im determined no overeating like last time. lol

Oh god - the cake!! Yes it took me ages to lose the weight after having Sophie it was such a good excuse and I was very sick in the first few months which magically stopped week 12.

I have started being a bit queezy but nothing to worry about so I just make sure I am eating little and often but healthy this time rather than gorging on ginger bickies like I did last time.

Would be good to stay in touch especially if my due date turns out to be close to yours
