My period should be due this friday but i had bleeding 12 days before my period was due. I have done a test but it was negative

Hi,
I thought i had fallen pregnant i have all the symptoms and then i've have some bleeding 12 days before my period is due. The bleeding was like a period but only lasted 2 and a half days. I have done a test and it was negative does this mean im not pregnant?
Im new to all this any advice would be great.

i REMEMBER WHEN i FiRST THOUGHT i WAS PREGNANT.i HAD ALL THE SYMPTOMS AND i MYSELF TOOK 2 PREGNANCY TESTS. THE TESTS CAME BACK NEGiTiVE.SO i THOUGHT iT WAS JUST A FALSE ALARM. BUT ABOUT 5 WEEKS LATER i START TO GET REALLY SiCK AND SO i TOLD MY MOM TO BUY ME ANOTHER TEST JUST TO BE ON THE SAFE SiDE. WHEN SHE GETS HOME i TAKE THE TEST AND iTS POSiTiVE. AT THAT MOMENT i WAS CONFUSSED AND SO MUCH THiNGS RAN THROUGH MY HEAD i THOUGHT THE BEST THiNG TO DO WAS TO TELL MY BOYFRiEND. WHEN i DiD WE BROKE UP. GiRL iM GONNA HAVE THiS BABY WiTHOUT HiM. MY ADViCE TO YOU iS BE CAREFUL.

A NEGATIVE TEST DOES NOT ALWAYS MEAN YOUR NOT... WHEN IS YOUR NEXT PERIOD DUE???

ok, wait until sunday. if your period hasnt came take a clear blue test.
