hiya everyone!

Im 23 weeks pregnant with my little Charlie and lovin it!! Although I have some minor problems which are v annoying

firstly, im gettin back ache in my tailbone...dont know if anyone has this and if it eases off? its not really bad just irritating, sometimes if im sat in one position for ages or led down for a while and try to get up i can hardly move cos of my back!

secondly, i keep gettin really acidic burps (sooryy a bit gross!) and was wondering if this is acid indigestion? if it is what is safe to take??

any advice appreciated!!

Congratulations on finding out you will be having a baby Charlie.
Im in my 20th week....got my scan friday, sooooo excited!
Have been so lucky, no morning sickness or anything much to speak of, but can totally relate to the aching back you describe, mine's real low at the bottom of my spine and especially aches if i've been sat for a while, have also started to get swelling in my feet when stood for too long, but the worse for me at the moment is the heartburn...it's really uncomfortable, real acid burning feeling up through my chest.
I take Gaviscon or Rennie which helps if i take it as soon as i feel it coming on.

The joys of motherhood!....it will all be worth it in the end!

Hey I am nearly 16 weeks and I get terrible pain in my lower back! It feels a bit like cramp and I get it when I sit or go to turn! I spoke to my midwife today about it and she couldnt help me! Its so sore!

You are right it will be worth it! Heard my babies heartbeat today which was amazing!

thanks for the reply, its good to know I'm not alone. Just worried that if ive got back ache now whats it going to be like when baby gets very big!?

And yes, its definitely going to be worth it. I can't wait. I heard my baby's heartbeat for the first time when i was 21 weeks and it took my breath away.

Hi girls.

I think i will probably find out the sex on Friday as im soooo impatient i doubt i'll be able to wait!

I have a son who's 11 and both me, my son and my partner think we're going to have a boy!

My midwife couldnt find the heartbeat at my appointment, i was 14 weeks then, so i bought a baby heart monitor and my partner found it straight away. That was a relief!
It's not a boom boom boom like your own heart beat is it? but more of a whooosh whooosh whooosh isnt.... Amazing!

It says on the packet of Rennie and Gaviscon that they can be taken during breast feeding and pregnancy and i've been taknig them for about a month now.

Aswell as the lower back ache i sometimes get a really sharp pain when i try to turn at night from my right side to my left...i thought maybe it was trapped wind...as i've hurt this can be very painful?!
