Trying to conceive!

I recently had surgery a year ago and am currently on Clomid I was tested on day 21 of my cycle 4 months ago and was given a perscription for this drug. However I have not had a test done since during any cycle and after reading this forum I feel it sould be done ot make sure i am ovulating. Correct me if im wrong?

The past few months my periods are quite consistant since being on Clomid and there has been a significant weight gain in stomach area yet a urine test and blood test for pregnancy has been ruled out! I am not sure if this is common and cant people tell me if there is somthing I can do to greaten my chances.

Ovulation on clomid

I would definately ask for monthly day 21 ovulation blood tests, it took me many cycles on clomid (gradually increasing the dosage if a few cycles on a dosage didn't induce ovulation), to actually consistently produce ovulation. They couldn't have done that without the knowledge if I was ovulating or not on a month by month basis. Even though my periods fell into a consistent pattern right away, it still took a long time before I ovulated.

Talk to your dr about this and see what they say about this. What dosage of Clomid are you on?
