"When do i ovulate/bleed?"

Hiya,

Just been to docs today for blood test results and have been told that everything's okay and I need to just keep trying... it's now been five months and with only one bleeds since coming off the pill in Sept.

I've been involved in these forms for a few weeks now and have brought ovulation strips on the advice of some memebers. I'm using them every day, but my question really is when would I expect to ovulate in relation to getting a period? Would I expect to ovulate two weeks before? If so I've still got hope that I may ovulate later this month and at least have a chance of getting pregnant!

The ovulation strips are great, but like the pregnancy tests, it's coping with the -ve result each day (as opposed to once a month) that's getting me down a bit.

If anyone could answer this quesiton or is in the same position I'd really appreciate it.

Hi, I also stopped the pill in September and i used ovulation strips.
They expect you to ovulate about 14 days after the 1st day of your period.. which is also 14 days before you're due to come on ( if your cycle is 28 days ) but if you're irregular then it's more difficult to say & i think you're doing everything you can if you're using them daily. My positive strip showed up 16 days after the 1st day of my period and im 8 and a half weeks pregnant!
Dont give up hope! x
