Hello there,
I am a counsellor with a practice in the North East of England. I have agreed to assist our receptionist in finding an egg donor for her daughter, who I will call Helen.
Helen has been through two cycles of IVF without success and, although her third round has been approved, must now find her own egg donor to allow this. After much soul-searching and consideration Helen and her husband have decided that they do not wish to accept the help of someone they know; given the emotional issues at play.
Her mother, our receptionist and the 'as yet to be born' childs Grandmother, also has clear emotional ties into this situation and so I have agreed to act as an aide between any prespective donor and Helen; who I do not know directly and have never met.
As per national guidelines; any donor should be between 21 & 35 years old and of good health; with at least one child of their own, no genetic disorders and no history of any sexually transmitted disease.
We would also ask that the donor live within the UK.
Full reimbursement of expenses; to include travel, accomodation, child-care, loss of earnings or other out of pocket costs; will be met and other compensatory amounts considered.
In the first instance I would ask any women who would like to discuss this or ask for further information to contact me, Peter Taylor, on donor@fineconsultancy.co.uk
If you could include details relating to your age, health, ethnic background, family structure and your location within the UK; I would be greatful.
Best Regards
Peter Taylor
