Can't get pregnant!!

Me and my fiance have been trying to get pregnant for nearly a year and half and nothing!! it is so frustrating. My periods have always been extremely irregular and at this point they have completely stopped. i was using ovualtion tests and they were saying that i was ovulating but i wasnt getting pregnant. i was also doing my temp. the last time that i went to my OB everything came back neg. on all my tests so i know its not an std or infection or anything. but i have been told that since it has been over a year and that she doesnt knnow why im not having periods that i need to go through fertility testing. another frustrating thing because my insurance covers none of that and its really expensive. I'm young arent i suppose to be fertile!! has anyone else gone through this? Is there anything you guys did to get pregnant?

Me and my husband have been tryin for 3 yrs and I have been diagnosed with pcos, I have recently had a laperoscopy and am going back to see my doctor this week to ask about taking clomid as I ve heard that it's very good. My surgeon hasn't mentioned any medication to us just ivf but as im 23 yrs old they won't fund me until im 25, I feel this is unfair as we have been trying for 3 yrs already and you only get one round on the nhs and chances of it working are only 22-30%.

Guys I was in the same boat as you once a upon a time. My doctor told me I was Infertile. Hearing this broke mine and my husbands heart. You can imagine what we were going through knowing we will never have our own kids. We were trying for years and each month I would have my period as usual. Dont worry I have never been pregnant after 8 years of unprotected sex so i know how you feel. My partner has a 9 year old child already so he doesnt understand the pain i go through month after month waiting for my period to not come!. I am 26,have 2 degrees, a decent job and I am of a jamaican background, and the culture is to have children as soon as you are able. hopefully next year i wil be getting married and everyone asks me all the time 'do you have any kids?' or 'when are you going to have kids?' it gets so bad some months on top of my pms that ive tried committing suicide. It really gets me down. But most days i sit in hope thinking in the back of my head that it will happen one day, when i least expect it. and also i have a partner that loves and respects me, no matter how much i dislike myself.
DONT get down about it, i think we should all stay positive and have hope,

i got pregnant with my first daughter at 17 which was a total shock as i was on the pill.
but after that my periods stopped and i couldnt get pregnant i was put on a treatment called clomid which resulted in twins but they werent to be but again i got pregnant on twins boy and girl i have also had another girl and boy so u can get help chin up
ps i think i have only had about 40 periods over 24 years so it is possible.

Hello this is my first time on a website of this kind so I'm not really sure how much help I can be to anyone.

My fiance and I have been sleeping together unprotected for the last 6 years.

I have regular periods, with no real problem, except for strong stomach cramps when I am on, and being very very heavy.

I am in my 20's and my partner has just turned 30. Every month, we are gutted when my period always comes on the exact date that it is due.

We have tried many things that we have seen or heard from people or on the Internet including eating healthy, having sex when I am scheduled to be ovulating, having stress free days, taking vitaim C tablets, we have tried everything.

My fiance has epliepsy, which has been controlled, for the last 6 months or so, but due to the tablets that he is currently taking the doctor has informed us that it would not be wise to investigate any infertility issues that he or I may have as he is concerned that any medication or treatment may interefer with what he is currenlty taking.

We are devastated. Does anyone have any advice or tips that we can perhaps try that we havent already?

My Husband and I have been trying for a baby for 8 years. We are very fortunate to have a 9-year-old son, who is the world to us. Our son was conceived naturally after 2 1/2 years of trying.
I have been with the fertility doctor, who has been brilliant.
We have both been told we are fit and healthy and after a laparoscopy,I have been given the all clear for my tubs. I was then put on Clomide, which took my egg count up to a very high number (so I had to be taken off them)
I am currently using Pregnyl via injections. This has all been free on the NHS and as yet has cost us no money. It would be worth approaching these channels if possible.

in 3 years, i had suffered 2 miscarriages and then the year that went by trying to get pregnant. finally , i found a chinese acupunturist who gave me a 7 days course of accupunture and i am now 15th weeks pregnant.

although i was sceptical at first, i went to see her anyway , and i am glad i did. well, it is just an idea for you to try and trust me , i have tried everything!

I have been trying for 3 years now.Had all the fertility tests and have been told I'm perfectly fine and should be able to conceive. However it still has not happened I also have irregular periods. Someone has told me to buy some magnesium ok tablets and also something called Quest so I am going to try that. To top it off everyone I know is either pregnant or had babies. Its really frustrating and hard to be positive sometimes. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you if you do for me!

I have been to the doctors and had a test for pco and it came back ok but she said to me i only release an egg now and again but i need to try harder. well that was nearly two yrs ago and still nothing what can i do?

not all women who are young are fertile sadly. i have been taking metformin for 6 years and managed to get pregnant once but sadly lost the baby as i was in a bad state of deppresion.i am trying for a baby now but have recently found out i have a bacterial infection called bv of which is caused by pcos of which i also have. have they tested you for that. please go online and type in pcos if you do not or have not been tested for that it could be the answer you need at this very moment in time as this can be helped but not reversed and please do not believe anyone who says it can. there you go you have one answer and i hope it will help you in the near future with having children keep me updated please and i will also keep you updated please do not hesitate to email me on here or on pointy_02@hotmail.co.uk thankyou and goodluck in the future i hope that one day you will have the child you are longing for.

so my fiances brother and his philipino (so spelled wrong but oh well) wife just moved in with us and she came in and saw me open this discussion board the other day and asked about it and we got talking and stuff and she told me that she was pregnant!!! she isnt sure how far along exactly but no more than two months. omg i was so hurt, i still am. i mean this was totally unplanned and probably unwanted. my fiances brother is 23 and probably the most immature 23 yr old you will ever meet, he play with action figures, plays video games all day, and cant budget money to save his life. on top of that he just ASKED for them to cut his hours at work when his is now having to start paying rent and they have a baby on the way. he blows his money on anime and video games but my fiance is on his ass about paying rent and stuff. my babe hasnt said anything but im sure he is probably hurt because now hes gunna be the last one out of his brothers and sister that has a baby. i was laying in bed last night and going through boxes i had found some baby clothes that i had bought when i thought i was prego and jumped the gun and got myself excited and they are hanging up in the closet and i just layed there and looked at them and i started crying. i mean these two have been together a year and already married and already having problems he wasnt ready to get married i mean the dude didnt have his first gf til he was like 21 whats he gunna do with a wife and a baby!? me and my fiance have been trying to have a baby for a year and a half, bring a baby into a loving happy environment where we can give it what he or she needs and start our family together but no i dont get that!! why not why is it so easily handed to so many others that dont even want it but not use that try for years on end!? sorry this is a little long im just frustrated and sad and upset.:'( maybe its just those hormone pills my dr gave me...something else they cant figure out whats wrong with me
