Does anyone know if low blood pressure can affect fertility? I've been off the pill for 6 months now and althoguh blood tests say everything is okay I haven't had a period for 12 weeeks now! And have been using ovulation strips to no avail either!
Thing is for the last week or so I've been feeling really light headed and my systolic blood pressure is barely 100 - I guess this is a consequence of coming off the pill. It's getting a bit awkward taking time off work to go to the Drs so don't want to go if there's no point... does anyone have any advice?

Hi. If you are concerned, go to Dr. at any time. That's what they are there for. Regarding low b.p.: my systolic b.p.is about 101 and I am told bu GP that it is very good. Apparently low b.p. is good for you. It means you are leading well balanced, happy life, with good diet. You only would be in trouble if your b.p. was high, that would mean you need to do changes in your lifestyle, maby take medication to bring it down. If you do not feel good, just take time of work and go to Dr. for some advice. Nothing is more important than your health. If you do not feel good, you can not do good job at work. Good luck.

Hi matelko,
Thanks for that... I'll see how I go for another couple of days and then see the Dr. I've tested my hemoglobin (I'm lucky enough to have these tests to hand) and that's come back normal so looks like the light-headedness isn't down to anaemia... I'm wondering whether I could be pregnancy (although a test on Mon came back -ve)...?
