Require a egg donor
Hi my name is debbie, i am unable to have children naturally as i was diagnosed with premature ovarian failure. This means that i am no longer producing eggs of my own, and will go through an early menapause.
Im am so devasted about being told this news, but the fertilty consultant put me on the waiting list, which has now come for the nhs to pay for my treatment.
I already had a woman who I knew that was going to my egg donor, and she had gone through all the tests and councelling, to become my donor, but unfortunatly she has let me down and changed her mind.
I can understand why she has, because she has no family of her own, she is 34 years of age, and has found a new partner, and obviously if you have read all about becoming a egg donor you will know that you cant remain annomomous now, as their has been a change in the law.
This means that when you donate your eggs to someone, you will automatically be on the register, so that if their was something wrong with the child and it required blood transfusions or something because your on the register they could get in touch with you to give blood to the child.
You would have no legal rights to the child, that would be the birth parents.
To become a donor you have to go through blood tests, and maybe a councelling sesion (optional), then you would have to take medication to stimulate you ovavries, and once they were ready they would be mixed with my partners sperm, and transferred into me.
So now you know the basics, i hope you are still considering becoming a donor.
Im desparate to have a baby, i am 32 year old, I could give a child the world, so please can you email me back.
