Anyone tried ivf with donor eggs in spain?

have just been told after many fertlity tests, a miscarriage and further fertility treatment that the only way I could have a baby would be with donor eggs.

Myself and my partner are both 42 years old and have no children but would really love a child of our own. We only met when I was 37 and I started trying at 40.
The waiting list in our area of Newcastle is 6 years and as I am now 42 and the cut off age is 45 for the IVF treatment for this it seems really hopeless.
If I could find someone willing to donate their eggs I would at least have a chance of having a baby. Unfortunately donors are very scarce in the North East.

I have information on clinics in Spain where there is no waiting list for egg donors.

Has anyone done this or know of anyone who has?

Ivf treatment in embriogyn - tarragona

Hi!
I am from UK and had my IVF treatment in Embriogyn, a cozy clinic in Tarragona. I sent an email and they contacted me right away. I received transfer within 3 months. We are so grateful to all the team!!! They are wonderful!!! Now we are anxious waiting for my scan due in a few days! It's been a very nice experience and we spent our summer holidays in the Costa Daurada!!! You can find Embriogyn site on the web. www.embriogyn.com
Good luck!!!!!!!!!

Embriogyn

hi Rachel

I am 44 and starting to think I'm never going to be a mum. In my country it will be too difficult to find a donor and I'm thinking Spain could be right for us. Can you please tell a bit more about Embriogyn? How is it now that you are back in UK?
Thanks for sharing
P

Embriogyn

Dear Paula

I also had this feeling myself in the past, but my scan shows I AM PREGNANT!!! We are so immensely happy and thankful to the staff at Embriogyn. I read lots of wonderful stories of couples that made it there and the price was so convenient in comparison to the UK. I started my search and compared clinics for a while finally decided to go with Embriogyn. I cannot thank them enough for all their support then and now. Do write them an email and see!!! don't give up

Treatment abroad

Hi Fringegirl,

Not sure if you saw my earlier posts, but I am a Fertility Nurse Specialist that has worked at a centre on the Costa del Sol for the pat 5 years. I now work freelance for a clinic in Madrid and one in Athens. Success rates are over 50% for egg donation and both centres will treat women upto their 50th birthday. There are no waiting lists at either centre.

IVF and egg donation abroad is very popular with couples from the UK for the reasons pointed out in your message. If you would like the benefit of my experience and knowledge please post here or visit my main website, www.ivftreatmentabroad.com

I realise you posted some time ago, but I would be delighted to help if you are still needing help.

Why travel to spain

If you are prepared to wait 5-9 months the London Womens Clinic can help you. We only had to wait 5 months and it is far less expensive than having to travel abroad. They have clinics in London, Swansea and Cardiff, operating an egg share programme. Their age cut off is 52. I hope this helps anyone who is considering this.

Why travel to spain

I am prepared to wait 5-9 months.

Please could you let me have the telephone no of the London and cardiff clinic.

What is the success rate?

What is the cost of the complete egg donor IVF treatment.?

Ginemed clinic in seville

I was in this Clinic in June because a friend of mine who lives in Seville had a baby thans an egg donation last year.

I found a very professional team there , I have done an egg donation too. At the beginning I didn't trust because I've tried two times in Barcelone two years ago, but now I'm so happy , I'm 37 years old and I'm pregnant.

I suggest you to visit www.ginemed.es
there's a section in english!!

Good luck!!

Carey

Have you tried any clinic in spain for egg donation method, with success

I have been advised by my consultant to consider egg donors after my fourth miscarriage.

I noticed you asked the question I was about to put on he board. Did you have any success with finding a clinic, if so what made you decide on it as opposed to the others you considered and what were the costs and was it succesful?

I would be grateful for your reply.

Pregnant from fertility treatment abroad?

Hi there,

Im writing to you from Renegade Pictures regarding a programme were making for the BBC about pregnancy. The documentary will be a warm, thoughtful look at pregnancy today, in which our expectant presenter will meet 7 women having a baby at different times of their lives - and with equally diverse lifestyles. Were really keen that this documentary will explore the wide range of options that are available to women, providing a fascinating insight into this very special time.

Were looking to contact women who are having their first baby this year and are particularly keen to feature women who are in their late 30s, 40s or 50s who are currently pregnant and have been successful through IVF or alternative fertility treatments. We hope this will be a positive opportunity for them to talk about their experiences, choices, and outlooks, and really want to offer them the opportunity to put their opinions across perhaps challenging stereotypes if they are passionate about that.

If you're interested in finding out more you can call me on: 07548 948 995 or email: baby(at)renegadepictures(dot)c o(dot)uk.

Many thanks and best wishes,

Paula

Ivf with ed in spain

Hello Lori,

I'm new to this board but I am also interested in going to Spain to do the IVF with ED soon. If you don't mind, would you give me the place, location and name of the clinic where you went? Who was your doctor? How long did it take? How many trips to Spain did you need to take? How old are you (you don't have to answer that if you don't want to)? What details were you allowed to know about your donor, such as age, eye color, height, weight, hair color, or anything else? What was the total cost of the procedure?

Thank you for any help you can give me.

Regards,
Cynthia

Spanish eggs

hi everyone

I have just found this forum and discovered lots of girls interested in Spain. I am 44 and have done 6 unsuccessful ivf rounds. We are seriously looking into Spain and have found two fab clinics to choose from. We also look at California but the costs were going to be around $35,000 aussie dollars, Spain is going to cost us around $20,000. Would love to hear from anyone that has been successful with the spanish ivf clinics.
Best of luck to all of you lovely ladies all over the world!

Hi caroline

Hi,
What clinics are you using just out of interest.? Me and my husband are going toCREA which my gynaecologist recommended.in a few weeks. They have been very open and helpful. They have 65% success rates with IVF and ICUI. so we've got our fingers crossed. Where are you going.? Best of luck.
