Hi,
Has anyone conceived after having pelvic imflammatory disease? I have no scarring, but am still worried as we're hoping to try for a baby!

I haven't, but doesn't Victoria Beckham have PID? She has three boys although, myabe she had fertility treatment.

No,she had PCOS (Polycystic ovary syndrome). PCOS makes it harder to conceive because due to a lack of the right hormones, the ovary may not release eggs regularly.

PID makes it harder to conceive because although an egg may be released the fallopian tubes may be too damaged for it to travel to the womb. Therefore it can also get stuck fertilised in the wrong place leading to an ectopic pregnancy.
