Shatavari, ovulex

Hi.I havn't been there for a while and in that short time this site seem to died. Where are you all gone????
I got so fed up with my situation. Was all weekend trying to find some herbal remedies to help me to get pregnant. I found two products I really liked. OVULEX - which I thought was expensive, and SHATAVARI - which I thought was cheap.
Have you ever tried any of these two. Or is there anything else you would recommend?
PS:hope somebody will answer, even if it is just to say hello...

Shatavari worked for me!

Hello!
I've been trying to get pregnant for a while, and started using shatavari about 2 months ago, and its really strange but i could just tell that it was working, i felt more fertile- that probably doesnt make sense! Anyway, i'm now pregnant so i'm putting it purely down to that, its Not sure if you've bought it yet but here's where i got mine from anyway.

Good luck!

Shatavari (asparagus racemosus)

I have just started taking a herbal remedy called vitex complex, which has been made up by the local herbalist in the town where I live. I am using it for the menopause, so I hope that I do not become pregnant. I am assuming that the levels are quite low as the remedy is made up of 8 ingrediants. On the explanation sheet it does say, shatavari is revered in Ayuryedic medicine as a female tonic, its main action is on the reproductive area. It is used to balance hormones, treat infertility and sexual debility. Because of these actions shatavari is considered to be an excellent remedy for menopause. Obviously I don't want to become pregnant at 50. So perhaps I had better stop. I think if I were you I would investigate a little further.

Hi...

I am on Ovulex right now. I started 1.5 mo ago. In Sept. I started Ovulex 10 dpo and had a 30 day cycle, which was short for me...even though it lengthened my luteal phase. My October cycle was only 28 days!! I have NEVER had a cycle that short. Also, for both months my AF was much, much lighter with much less pain, and didn't last as long. I am blessed to have found Ovulex. Prior to Ovulex, I could barely function during AF time. I was lucky I could stand up...It was never straight up either. I am a teacher, so it was extremely difficult for me to teach in that kind of pain. I had to take Vicodin or 8 ibuprofin to relieve the pain. I got AF this month 3 days ago. I took 2 Aleve the first day and that was it!!! Also, just spotting today, no bleeding! This is wonderful. I surely hope it works to get me pg, but if nothing else it has regulated my periods so I will continue to use Ovulex forever!!

Hello then

Hi
just a quick hello. have you ever tried a clinic, egg donation?
you just might laugh at me, might be against it. but asking. who knows how i might help.
cheers,

Hi...

I havn't tried a clinic yet. And I am most definatelly not against it. I don't know a lot about egg donation, but generally think that it must be expensive.
Our current situation is that we just had all possible tests done (which took to NHS nearly a year to do!!!!) and found out that we are more than OK. We just belong to that unfortunete 20% group of people who cannt get pregnant without reason (I think they called it phantom infertility). Our Dr. wrote a letter to clinic to refere us for insemination.
It will be a month soon since the letter was sent and so far we have never heard from clinic - which is gettin frustrating. We feel left down, lonely and desperatte to do something more radical, but do not know what else can we do.
Bye,

Hey there again

Hi there again,

Sorry to hear that. It must be very frustrating indeed. Especially when you have to deal with the whole red tape and everything. It feels like your hopes are hanging on to some papers.
But please don't feel left down. There must be some people out there who are willing to help and put aside all the paperwork.
Look if you want I can ask these people that I know about the whole procedure and the costs obviously.
If you want you can take a look at their website and I can do some digging up too.

As far as I know there are no waiting lists and I know that Ryanair flies close from here(10km)for prices around 50 euros return ticket.I know this about flight tickets because a month ago I went to London for the weekend and that is what the ticket cost me.
If you want to write I'll give you my personal address.

All the best and hope I can help,
Denisa
