I used to work for a doctor's office and the tell their patients that with most birth controls that it could take 3-12 months to wear off. The length of time that this takes sometimes is why doctors say that it helps to have at least a rough time line on when you want to get pregnant, ect. Good luck!

I was on it for a year and a half, my periods became normal after the first month. I have been trying for 4 years and have found out im 9 weeks pregnant. I blame deprovera for how long its taken me to get pregnant but I just don't know.

I was on the Depo for roughly 3 years on and off, it took me 6 months to get my 1st period and they went normal straight away 6 months after my 1st period im still not pregnant though, so im assuming that the depo is the reason for this.

Good Luck x

It does depend I think on how long you have been on it.
I was on it for two years and it took about six months before my periods returned. They went straight into a normal pattern though when they did.
