Willing egg donor

Hi there

Egg donation is something that i have been thinking about for a long time and i would love to help a family conceive.

I am well educated, attractive Scottish woman (former model) who likes to take good care of herself. There is no history of serious illness on either side of my family tree. No cancer, heart disease, nothing. I realise that this is very desireable for prospective parents and that is why i have decided to come forward as a donor.

I am aware that it is illegal at present to pay egg donors for their service however my solicitor has advise me that it is perfectly acceptable to accept a 'gift' or donation' from parents and it is the norm to have expenses covered.

I would love to help a loving couple realise their goal without having to fork out for course after course of IVF.

i have just been reading your post as i have not logged on to this page for some time i to was in the same situation as you not so long ago last september and i was deverstated i thought my world had crashed i posted on this site for egg donors as like you have i did have a responce but was let down again i was so upset but the law in this country puts a lot of people off wanting to donate have you thought off donation in spain good luck and dont give up

I know I am probably older than most donors but I have been through IVF with my now ex only a couple of years ago. We did 3 cycles and I had around 11-13 eggs retrieved and 2/3/2 inserted. We were unlucky and we broke up for other reasons. I am single healthy and know what you are going through. I have been very blessed in my life. I modelled from age 13 for many years, mostly photogrphic and catalogues as I am 5'5. I am 55kgs and work out eat extremely well and I think that is why we had so many eggs each time. I also last time I did one some years ago told my IQ was in the high 130's. As I said I have been very blessed.

My reasons though for offering and I always prefer to be honest are financial at the moment. I run a charity that supplies orphanages in third world countries and we were just robbed so have hit some difficult financial times. I like to think I am a good person, I am an eternal optimist and come from a very academic family. My mother just finished her PHD and I am taking a years break from doing my masters.

Hi thanks very much for your message. I'm sure you have been through all the same emotions as myself. I did look into the Spanish option, however our finances are not great at the moment. We have paid for our 2 ICSI cycles and our savings are depleted. I am hoping if we find a donor that this cycle will be funded by the NHS. But after so many knockbacks in the past I am now more pessimistic about our chances. I hope you have found success.

I read your lovely profile and seems like therer are genuine angels out there in this world. Me and my husband are looking for a suitable donor and is proving more difficult than I ever thought. We have even contemplated going abroad to have this done but is not finacially visable at the moment.
