Fertility hsg

my partner and i have been trying to conceive for 2 years no success
and now we are told his sperm is fine, my progesterone is ok its 31 apparently low but its over 30 so im ovulating
and i have to go for hsg xray with dye as they think my tubes are blocked
really worried they are blocked any one been through this let me know if there is trestments for blocked tubes
all advice greatly appreciated

hi,im just new on the forum.I had a laparoscopy in March as I was told one of my fallopian tubes was blocked and the other was twisted.Laparoscopy showed both tubes were fine which came as a great surprise to my partner and I.I had a hsg last monday,I read alot of horror stories about it and was dreading it,I found it to be okay,it was slightly painful,and the last minute or so I found was the worse,at this point I was glad to have it over.I had cramping for about half an hour and felt okay then.Today I worried as my partner and I are having intercourse alot as I was told you have a great chance of conceiveng,but after intercourse i am bleeding alot and have cramping in my abdomen.I contacted my consultant and he said this probably normal but contact him in a few days if it continues.Is there anyone has experienced this?Id be grateful to hear from yous.And goodluck with your hsg,it really isnt that bad.

I had my hsg last friday , the doctor said my tubes are clear also had my internal scan today and says all looks fine but waiting to have a final blood test before all results are in.

Make sure you take someone with you when you have the hsg they say its not painful and some people dont experience pain but i was in alot and it knocked me about a bit , dont want to scare you everyone is different but just be prepared x

Can I ask how did you get a HSG done and how long did it take?

Me & OH have been TTC for over a year now. We got PG twice but sadly lost them both to MC. Sinse the last MC 6 months ago we havn't got caught and I think there maybe something wrong due to this?

I have had swabs taken and all lear, had prostogeon tests done & they came back at 50 - very fertile. OH is going to get his seaman tested on Weds. Can I go to the docs and just ask for a HSG?

Any help & advise would be hugely appreciated.
