Urgent donor wanted!

Hi everyone, this is my third post now, and i really am at the end of my tether now. I do not know what to do, so confused all i want is to have a baby is that too much to ask?
Been on this site since September last year and got some luck back in December, when someone read my post and wanted to help. So we got things rolling and i was excited and so was my donor. The clinic have turned around and said this donor is not suitable for me - rules and regulation HFEA!
So now my husband and i are now back at the bottom of the ladder once again. I am 40 now and my husband 49 and if anything should happen to one of us, then we have nothing to live for.
We are a professional Asian couple who work hard and are just desperate to have a child in our lives before its too late. We are not even looking for an Asian donor it does not matter, the clinics will allow white British dark hair, dark eyed donors.

hi,
this is my first time on the site, i was thinking of being a donor to help fund my own IVF.. i am 33 and already have one child a 17yr old boy, but i do not know much about it or the rules or regs?? i am a seirous lady, and have been thinking for some time and as my son turns 18 next year , i thought my time was running out too. i have had a couple of health issues so thats why i ask about the rules and reg?? nothing that can be passed on, my sons is a very hansome young man, taking his GCSEs, with a place at a good local college to do his A levels, and he is also in the junior fire brigade. we are both white english brown hair blue eyes, if i can not be of any help to you , i wish you luck, and it would be nice just to get some feedback...
