Egg donation and surrogacy process

Hi

I just wondered if anyone could tell me more about the egg donation process.

we need to use a surrogate and egg donor. my surrogate has seen her GP and asked to be referred to manchester and i think i have found someone to be our egg donor.
im just confused as to who needs to be seen first, for example if my egg donor go's first would it be a waste of time because my surrogate hasnt been seen yet? and also when does my partner need to give his sperm sample? because they said it would need to be stored for 6 months first?

i hope this makes sense. i just want more of a step by step guide to what is going to happen. I know i should have asked all these questions at my appointment but i was to upset to ask

The clinics may suggest egg donor and surrogate however there is straight surrogacy that is cheaper and you dont need to use a clinic!

For those that dont have a surrogate you can create the embryos with the egg donor that can be used after 6 months
For those that do have a surrogate the sperm needs to be frozen for 6 months first.
