St marys

Hi

I have found an egg donor and a we need a surrogate who i have also found but we are still waiting for referral letters to the hospital!
im with st marys in manchester and we have been told our egg donor and surrogate need to be reffered from their GP which they have done! but we are still waiting for an appointment, its been 2 months since my surrogate went to see her GP

I just wondered if anyone else has experience with st marys and how long did you have to wait?

I have just been referred from my doctors to St Mary's, I previously had treatment there for IVF which was not successful and then my hormone levels (FSH I think) were too high and I could not have any more treatment. Donor eggs were never discussed and I did not think that it was an option. Now I have arranged a surrogate but would like to be able to carry a baby myself. Everything has changed since I had treatment as I had to wait nearly 5 years to get to the top of the list, I have no idea what happens now and what process are followed. Any help or advise would really be appreciated as I do not know anyone who is going through this process.

I am currently having treatment at St Mary's, My egg donor went to see her GP in December 2008 and we have just completed our councelling and paperwork. We can start treatment when I get my next period.
