What do you think of our names

hi there, me and my boyfriend have already agreed on names, if its a boy its going to be called james campbell, and a girl will be called tarn louise or tarn dawn.
im a bit stuck with the girl as i think tarn louise has a better flow to it, yet dawn for a middle name is my sisters name.
its just james, campbell and tarn are all from his family and dawn from mine, he's very proud to be scottish so the names show this.
just wondered what other people think of the names?

don't take this the wrong way but i don't really like tarn it sounds like yarn...but if thats what you like then sure if you like the t's i like:

i quiet like both your choices but just as a suggestion, how about instead of Tarn lengthen it to Tarnya, my aunties name is Tarnya and it is always shortened to Tarn. i just think that Tarn is more of a nickname.

i love James Campbell. my sons name is Campbell and i have never heard of anyone else liking it.

I think your names are nice. james is neither a name i love nor hate and i think James Campbell is a good solid name for a boy. I'm not too sure of Tarn personally and louise is ok, but i like the idea of using dawn to integrate the family names, but i agree that tarn dawn sounds too mismatched. what about Tarn Aurora or even aurora Tarn as Aurora means Dawn in Latin.
