How do u choose a name u both agree on?

My partner and i are expecting our first baby and although I am only six weeks we thought we would look now as we dont have the same taste in names and think it wuld take us as long as when the baby comes.
I like names like jack and christopher but my other half hates it and he likes the name claudia but i hate it. How do we choose a name we both like without one another getting upset?

Suggestion

I know how you feel. My husband and i went through the same thing. We were having a girl and he liked the name Brie and i liked the name Ella.

So, we decided we wanted it to be fair as we both wanted to agree on our daughters name.

We combined our favorite names and our daughter is now called Briella

Agreement

It may sound silly but when i found out i was pregnant i was 24weeks gone and i gave birth two weeks later at 26 weeks. Si choosing a name we both agreed on and in a short space of time was hectic. We printed of hundreds of names off the internet. I went through and put a red star by all the ones i liked and my partner put a green star by all the ones he liked. At the end we had about six girls and six boys names that we both agreed on. we whittled that down to two for each sex. and didnt choose the actual name until we saw our daughter, as often when you see them you just know her name is Caitlyn Harmony, as we couldnt decide betewwn the two lol but mose of all dont let it stress you out as i dont know of any child who is nameless yet. plus it is very unlikely you will be firmly set on any name until much nearer the end of your pregnancy..
