Lyrical match
dear friend of new-baby mom,
as a poet and lyricist, i aimed to use keen musical&dramatic senses to sound the last name with first names to blend not only the literal sounds, but also the undertones, of each name. The last name you mentioned is a serious, sharp name, so i felt the first name could incorporate something elegant or "romantic" (yet perhaps not long, as the last name is already long.) i would never impose with a specific advice, being i am not in the family/close, but here is my advice: search names, such as classic or simple names, sound them to find the elegant, romantic, or carefree touch. (Like an "airy feel" that is the opposite feel of the surname.) This romantic et al feel will blend nicely with the wonderful and proud, strong/rougher name of Murgatroyd. I will mention one specific: for this light touch, i thought boy names starting with vowels would be good to try first. for example, E procounced "eh" often begins a light and romantic name! P.S. to the parents: WHEN desired, NEVER FEAR using your own CREATED NAME. you have "created" a home for his spirit; feel free to name it!
