I am going to be a teen mum.
Im 18yrs old and recently found out I was pregnant which was'nt planned although I dont believe in abortions.
I am happy and excited about being pregnant although im scared aswell.
It must be hard for you on your own but its good your mum gives you support.
I am only 5 weeks and scared about eating all the wrong foods and not doing the right things as I would hate to loose him/her.
was you scared in pregnacy?

hi, just want to say that i was 15 when i got pregnant, me and her dad split when she was 6 weeks old, we found out when chloe was 5 months old that she has cystic fibrosis! a lot to take in for a teenager!
but im 28 now, my daughter is now nearly 13!
im engaged to my partner and we have 2 more girls aged 9 and 3 and im 32 weeks pregnant with another girl,
we have our own home, car ( a zafira to fit all the kids in!) and are doing great
so been a teenage mum isnt the end of the world, but i will say that it does get hard, and some point in your life you will feel like you have missed out on your teenage years.
good luck!

Hiya

Im 18 and i have got two babies who mean the world to me, well kade isn't really a baby anymore he's just turned 3 and he's a handful now but hes so cute!! And my baby girl, Esmae is 16 months old and is *GORGEOUS*
I love them both to bits and i wouldnt change them for the world. I want another one already but my bf's told me we have to wait till kades at school and esmae's a bit older!!
It was so hard when i first had Kade because i was 15 and i didnt really have a clue but it does get easier! & even if i could turn back time i wouldnt change anything.
I dont think you should listen to what other people say because what the .... do they no?! unless youve been through it yourself i dont think you can judge anyone!

There are a lot of teen Mums whose lives are their childs

I first got pregnant when i was 15, had my baby boy at 16! His names Cooper and hes 6 and a half months old and hes simply amazing.

I'm pregnant with my second child now, almost 15 weeks pregnant and very excited for my lil girl to arrive.. due on August 13th, my brothers birthday

I don't think you should have gotten rid of your baby!!! its a life, thats like murder. and he will most probably be the most amazing thing to ever happen in your life!!

Best of luck with raising him

I think all you teen mums are brilliant. I am 33 and have 2 small boys. I post quite frequently on the abortion forum, as I am pro-life, and I always urge women who are considering abortion to think again, and connect with their precious children.

It would be great if any of you could take the time to write a word on the abortion forum on sofeminine, as you all are an inspiration for me.

I am troubled that you get nasty glances from older people. This is terrible. We live in such a child un-friendly world. Just know for every evil eye you get, there are other people out there who think ye are really brilliant not to have chosen abortion.

Hi

Ive just turned 20 and had my lil girl two months ago, everyone told me and my partner that we should have an abortion as we were to young but we knew we wanted her and not aday has gone by since she has been born that i wish i hadnt had her.
I think you should be so proud of bringing your son up by yourself i admire you alot as i no how hard it can be with two parents.

Hi, i'm not a teen mum but most people who were in my class have become teen mothers, I think the youngest was 14 when she had a child. She kept it - like yourself, and found it to be a struggle but it's the best thing she ever did - he's now - 5 this year, and every day gets a little easier.

Don't think you should be ashamed though - this happens, alot, to most girls every day. I do believe that Abortion is wrong - but it depends on the circumstances - or better still I do believe in adoption though!

I hope things go well for you and your little 'un - he should be the most valuable thing in your life - make the most of him whilst he's young, they grow up too quickly! x

"A message from us!"

Hi, I've just found this forum so I thought I would post

As you can see... it's quite late but being a teen mum, I'm just reading my copy of Taming of the Shrew for an English essay whilst I wait for one of my twins to drop off to sleep - I'm listening to her in the room next door on my baby monitor, it's such a lovely sound.

I'm 18, just doing my A Levels this year in History, Geography and English Lit having achieved 4 A's last year at AS Level (subjects mentioned above and Biology). I've been accepted at Cambridge to study History and I'm taking Annabel and Clara my twin girls with me.

I was 16 when I fell pregnant and had my twins when I was just 17, I come from a strong Christian family (similarly to someone who posted previously) and they were very disappointed when I fell pregnant. I am no longer with the father however he see's the girls regularly and I've made my situation work for me. Whilst far from ideal, my family have accepted Annabel and Clara and I've proven to all my doubters that I can be both a loving mother and good student.

To anyone out there who thinks falling pregnant means the end of their future... it doesn't, please have faith in yourself.

All my love and best wishes,

Sally, Annabel and Clara
