If you like names with meanings i really like Louanna which is brazilian for the moon, its really pretty as well. I like Freddy for a boy and I really love Charley/Charlie. I am 19 weeks pregnant and really confused too. If you have any suggestions for names then please reply to me x thanks

Doh!! Just realised that your message was from June, not July so you will have already had your baby and chosen a name. I blame the children for my complete dumbness!!! What did you call him/ her? xxx

well why not try looking through a book of names, i was stuck on names for a boy althogh im not due til december i want to be ready.. i like harris or braydon for a boy and iv chosen kyla grace for a girl. blake is nice though and it does go with cawstan.
your dad is right about the charles my boyfriends name is charles and i hate it although he gets called charlie so its not all that bad as if i have a boy his middle name will be charlie.

Hi Abbymummy, Well, i have Charlie (Evan). love the name, get nice comments about it a lot, and I too hate 'Charles', Stand your ground; my father-in-law also insisted on telling family he was 'Charles' until i made it clear he was NOT. Like your girl's names:I also likes Grace, Neve, Eve, Elined, Tegan.
good luck! x

"Charlie is a great name " Posted by poshbosh 12 June at 18:10
My nephew - now 14 weeks is called charlie but on the birth certificate it is Charles. No-one has called him Charles and it was always the intention that Charlie was his name but Charles was put on the birth certificate as a more formal option should he wish to use it for any reason!
If you love Charlie - go with it

"Ewan?" Posted by popsy25 12 June at 16:59
Hi
We picked a boy's name as I was certain my baby was a boy - then turned out to be a girl!
We had picked Ewan (or spelt Euan) - fairly traditional, Scottish and we both liked it (biggest miracle of all!) I think Ewan Cawston is nice, and goes well with Tristan.
Just a thought! Let us know what you decide x

Charlie is sooo cute, you don't have to call him Charles - he'd never use it and Charlie is just cute (but OK for a grown man). But you'd get two Cs...you've not got a C surname have you?! Jess xx

"Charlie c" Posted by rebeccac3 14 June at 13:38
Hi Jess I have a 'C' surname, and oit really works with Charlie; his middle name's Evan, which also works. I think the 'Charlie C' pattern is funky!
