Hey guys what ya think?

hey guys,

so after some rather lengthy discussions about a name for the baby my partner have decided on Nathan James if it is a boy.

However we still have yet to choose a girls name (don't find out the sex until next month). I like the name Ava for a girl its short simple and sounds cute! What do you guys think? My partner is adamant on calling it Ashley if is a girl but i really don't like it. Any suggestions on how we can come to some agreement?lol

ANy comments would be appreciated!

Toodles!
Haylez xx

Hi

i love ava, however if you really can't get your partner to agree, then what about 'Avaleigh' like someone already suggested. that way, by the time she's registered, she will already be getting nicknamed 'Ava.'

Avaley

I agree whith summerlee1.
You should try something like Avaley or Ava Leigh so both of you get a piece of the cake.
An I'm sure the baby girl will love it too.

I agree

I think Ava is lovely Haylez, how about going down the nick name route and suggesting that if you name the baby Ashley she will get Ash etc? Might be worth a try...I am sure you can change his mind

Ava...

I like Ava Grace.

What about

Ava Ashley or Ava Ashleigh??
i think it sounds cute and you l be both happy
let me know what you think

Not that simple...lol

hey

thanks for your reply. i suggested Ava Ashley if it was a girl but he refuses unless its Ashley Ava but i refuse to call the little on if it is a girl Ashley!lol

might try and push Ava Ashley as i think it sounds good!Lol

thanks again and take care

I have to agree

My husband and i are also considering Ava if we have a little girl - a cute name for when they are little, elegant for when they are older and easy for them to learn how to spell

I do have to agree with you on the name Ashley - really not my cup of tea either.

The only suggestion i can give you is a list of all the other girls names we are considering - incase ou can compromise on a new one.

There is a constant A theme here Amelie, Amelia, Amalia, Adele, Amaya

Good Luck

Hey

just thought id reply to your post after seeing your list of possible names.
one of your choices is very good as it is my name and i dont really see many people with it (Adele, by the way)
my middle name is Marie.
