Need help with girls name!!

Hi,

I need help with a girls name as we cannot decide on one. We like Ava Grace but my husband prefers the name Amelia, which was my grandmothers name or a variation of this Amalia.

I prefer Amelia/Amalia to but i do not know which one i prefer. We pronounce the name Amalia differently which doesn't help - My husband prefering Am-a-lia whereas i naturally pronounce it A-mah-lia. How would you guys naturally pronounce this name?

Also we are struggling to find a middle name for Amelia/Amalia. Don't think Grace goes with it as well as Ava. Can anyone suggest any good middle names that work? am thinking one syllable names go best....?

i was reading your thoughts and i found it really weird as my daughter has a best friend called grace amelia, which i think is really lovely, you could go the other way and call her amelia grace which is also lovely.....good luck
