this was posted 3 years ago so the little boy is almost 3 and perhaps there is no need to keep suggesting names !

One gal further down mentioned a Stacy (I've heard), and a guy I went to HS with was Leslie.

Erm...
Britney and Chelsea (to me) are just too girly (Britney Spears, anyone?). I've met several guys named Cortney and a couple named Micah, one named Ashley, and a guy I work with is named Brook (of course, one of the patrons of the bank OH works for just named their little girl Brooke Trout - mum got to pick the first name, dad got to pick the middle, and there was NO vetoeing!). Hope you find what you're looking for!

Suggestion...?
I have to agree with the above comment that it appears you may have wanted a girl. Have you thought about a slight difference in the pronounciation? Like maybe Chelzee, not sure if this helps...

Alternative!
Please please please reconsider these choices - I agree with the others, your child will have a terrible time with either, even as a middle name.
If you like Gone With The Wind and unusual names, how about Beau? It's a boy's name with a feminine edge.

No no no no
im not being rude or anything but you cant call your son that ashley is not that bad as i think it was origginally a boys name but britney or chelsea just no. brooklyn is not that bad what about tyler or taylor there unisex.

They are girls names
I agree that they are girls names and you have to be sure you are happy for your child to be potentially bullied. Brook is a boys name so Brooklyn doesn't sound girly and Ashley is also a common name for a boy but Chelsea and Britney don't sound unisex...they sound girly.

Have you already named your son?
Brooklyn is unisex because it has a feminine ring to it with masculine connotations. Chelsea and Britney are not Unisex. there is nothing Masculine about either of them. Just because Chelsea is a place does not mean that it isn't a feminine name. My name is Chelsea and I do not in the slightest bit feel that my name does not hold me firmly into the female gender. Chelsea is at all unisex and trust me I would LOVE to have a unisex one instead. I'm all for you naming children with unisex names. I believe the two gender box system that we have created in society has crippled our existence as human beings, but giving him an actual girls name will defeat the purpose because he WILL be teased and it will only provoke the idea that certain names are girl or boy only and that to have a name of the other gender is "bad." Unisex names must be chosen wisely. I really need to rethink your choices if you haven't already settled.

Love it!!!
I'm sure you have already had your child and named him by now but I'm curious as to what name you picked. I am also looking for unisex names for boys. Right now I like Kourtney & Stacy. I say it's an awesome choice and the child will love it if they are raised to love themself for who they are and not what society says they should be!

Chelsea or ashley
how about casey its good for both and really cute iknow a few boys with that name my name is chelsie and its not good girl name let alone should it be used for a boy and no way should you name ashley i've been a kid and he would so get made fun of

Neither!! poor boys
sounds like you need to have a girl, dont torture you boys with social suicide...a babys name will reflect on who they are there whole life, you cant be serious!

Paris?
Sorry don't like either, but if you like unisex names how about Paris? I've heard it twice as a boys name. Good luck!

Sorry i don't like these either.
Sorry S, I think boys would struggle with these names.
My wee girl is called Laurie which is also a boys name in Scotland, another couple of unisex names are Ellis and Elliott.
Good Luck to you and your new born. xx

Mmmmmmmh
don't like that kind of names....sorry

Other unisex names
Please do not do that to your child - out of all the potential unisex names that is far too extreme. They would get bullied terribly for that at some point in their lives.
My sister in law just gave birth to a boy and called it Charlie which a friend of mine would have given to a girl last year had she not miscarried so perhaps you could use that one?

Advice
Oh please don't.
You shouldn't even be considering this!
It shouldn't be about your preferences. You should think of the consequences for your child.
He would be Bullied at School
Imagine how awkward it would be introducing yourself to everyone with a females name!
Would you like it if you were called Matthew or Andrew or Phillip?
I'm not trying to be rude, but wake up and be responsible.
Don't put your child in this position.
What do you think?
I think it is ridiculous.

Expert opinion
I think it is unhealthy for your baby's gender identity to name them a name that will be commonly confused with a girl's name. I have my master's degree in child development so take my word for it.

Definitely not
My friend just recently found out she is having a baby, so we have been looking at baby names. She also likes unisex names but i think chelsea and britney are going to the extreme. Her and I have found names like Hunter, and Riley (or spelled Rilee), which is a little bit more understandable. However, i work with children and they will attempt to poke fun at whatever they can. Your name should in a sense, depict the person you are (sex wise). Please do not take this offensively, but it may appear to some people that you wished to have girls but ended up with boys, so instead you opted to name them with girly names. I personally think you should try to think of a name that is more UNISEX and not entirely too girly.
Here is some examples: Avery Bailey Brett Cameron Carson Casey Christian Corey Dakota Devon Evan Haiden Jaden Jamie Jesse Jordan Kadin Kendall London Mason Morgan Parker Payton Shay Skylar Taylor Zane
*IF I WERE YOU, I WOULD DEFINITELY RECONSIDER AND TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE BENEFIT OF YOUR SON
