Middle name choice.

i have found out i am expecting a liitle girl and don't want a silly, stupid name so have chosen Ellie.
i would like to have May as the second name but cannot decide whether to spell it the traditional way (May) or the alternative way (Mai).

would do you think?

I think Mae would be best (not one of the options (May or Mai) but I like this spelling better)!

i think i am going to go with Mai. as someone suggested this is the welsh spelling and also a little less popular.

Me and husband got married on MAY 13TH 2006.( this is my birthday too) I alwyas said if we had a little girl she would be called Katie May. As we had the most wonderful baby boy 11 weeks ago we called him Daniel Ashley.

As you call yourself Welshadele, I assume that you come from the beautiful Principality of Wales (so do I, originally!) The Welsh form of 'May' is 'Mai' (as in the spelling of the month)so it would be very fitting for you to use the Welsh form of the name. All the best for the birth.

Hi Adelle and ellie if your a traditional person go with may but do you want to be the same as most others if not go with mai.I would go with mai its more up to date and not many will have used it before.
